Republic Intermediate

Republic Intermediate School is a state-of-the-art, 124,000-square-foot facility designed to serve 1,200 fifth- and sixth-grade students, easing the transition between elementary and middle school while enabling collaborative learning.

Guided by input from students and staff, the design prioritizes natural light, flexibility, and security. Key features include a massive multipurpose commons, a high-wind shelter, outdoor classrooms, and a modern media center. The campus also functions as a community hub capable of hosting large events. By relocating roughly 800 students from existing buildings, the Intermediate School relieves crowding and positions Republic to accommodate an anticipated 75% population surge over the next 15 years.
