North Point Youth Center

hdesigngroup partnered with North Point Church to design a new youth center that expands the Springfield campus while establishing a distinct identity for student ministry. The free-standing facility connects to the existing main building, allowing the youth program to function independently while reinforcing campus circulation and visibility.

A new entry sequence and gathering plaza create a dynamic front door for both the youth center and the broader campus, improving wayfinding, safety, and arrival experience. The design balances separation and connection – providing a dedicated environment for students while strengthening the overall campus framework.

Through material continuity, transparency, and activated outdoor spaces, the youth center presents its own character while remaining cohesive with the church. Flexible interior gathering and worship spaces support weekly programming and events, positioning the facility as a visible, welcoming hub for the next generation and a key entry node for the campus.
