Hill City Church

Springfield, Missouri

Hill City envisioned this building not only as a sanctuary for the church’s worship services, but also as an outreach hub central to its growing ministry “For the City,” which includes offering space to charitable and non-profit groups serving the community. Constructed on the seven-acre East Trafficway site formerly occupied by Bolivar Insulation Company, the facility represents the congregation’s first permanent location after six years of meeting in the Gillioz Theatre. The church, which offers ministries for children, youth, adults, and college students, commissioned the complex anchored by a 700-seat auditorium, with a large atrium space, several classrooms, and smaller gathering areas. Complementing the meeting space are a warming kitchen, outdoor green space, and a spacious parking area.
