Mary S. Boyd Elementary needed an update to serve its changing community, so we helped design a solution for growth, adaptability, and longevity.

The new 60,000-square-foot building blends with the adjacent neighborhood, with warm, textural exterior materials. Protected porches welcome students, staff, and visitors into its interior promenade, which is flanked by creative centers focused on engagement, creativity, and collaboration.

Classrooms can accommodate more than 400 pre-k and elementary students, with special education classrooms, a versatile gym, and specialized fine arts areas. Purpose-driven design and updated technologies keep everything warm, friendly, and functional, while local art and school history are prominently displayed to enhance the community connection.
