After graduating from Vatterott College with a degree in drafting and design, he began his career in architecture as a shop drawer in 1997 for EFCO Corporation. One year later, he went back to Vatterott College and taught the drafting program. Paul and his wife decided to move to her hometown in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in 1999. While living there, he worked for two architectural firms and an aluminum company. During their time in Pennsylvania, Paul also served as an inner-city children’s and youth pastor.

In his previous work experiences, Paul designed and managed warehouse facilities, retail shopping centers, office buildings and tenant fit-outs in various amenities. After 15 years of living and working in Pennsylvania, Paul and his family decided to move back to Springfield, Missouri, where he began working for a firm that focused mainly on Bass Pro Shops.

Now Paul is a contributor and team player at h design group, and we are enjoying getting to know him and discover his talents. Paul’s skills go beyond architectural design, and his attention to detail shines through when he is working on his main hobby, electric football. Paul is skilled at painting teams and building boards for this hobby. Paul, aka Raiderman to the electric football competition,  also runs leagues, plays in tournaments, and stays very involved in the activity—Paul is even a member of the electric football Hall of Fame. As a father of four and the youngest of six boys, Paul enjoys playing video games, coaching football and mountain biking.

As Paul goes throughout his week, his inspiration comes from Jeremiah 29:11—“I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” h design group is grateful to have Paul on our team, and we hope that next time you are at our office, you have the opportunity to meet him.
