New Project Manager at H

Ryan Phillips joined h design group earlier this year as project manager.  Ryan has more than thirteen years experience working on a wide array of projects types across the United States. Ryan specializes in project design and management from concept through construction administration.

Originally from Louisiana, Ryan graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Louisiana Tech University in 2001. Out of college Ryan worked as an intern architect where he focused on projects in healthcare and hospitality. Ryan’s most recent work is in northwest Arkansas at Hight-Jackson Associates, who h design has partnered with on educational projects in the past.

After moving back to Springfield from Arkansas, Ryan has truly “hit the ground running” with new projects for h design. Since he’s joined the h team, Ryan has worked on several local projects including Macedonia Baptist Daycare Facility, Republic Transportation Facility, and misc. Twin Oaks Country Club projects.

Most recently, Ryan has assisted with the new CU Downtown Bus Transfer Station by attending the 3-day design charette, developing a design report, and creating renderings and conceptual designs.

Additionally, Ryan’s expertise in SketchUp and Revit (Building Information Modeling) has allowed the office to better learn the architectural programs. Rendering of Macedonia Baptist Daycare Facilitybelow.

At home, Ryan enjoys spending family time with his wife, Milah, of 14 years and their 3 children… Elizabeth (9), Katherine (6), and Lincoln (almost 2). They enjoy many activities including local church involvement, homeschooling, and anything outdoors.  Personally Ryan enjoys camping, backpacking, cooking, movies, and photography.
